Stacey (Stegeman) Lambert became the 31st individual and 12th female to serve the IHSA as an Assistant Executive Director when she was named to the position by the IHSA Board of Directors on December 14, 2009.

A 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Quincy, Lambert was a part of the school's IHSA Class A state champion girls volleyball team in 1998 and went on to enjoy a standout volleyball career at Millikin University. She graduated from Millikin in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and then earned her Masters Degree in Sports Management from Illinois State University in 2007. In addition, she served as the junior varsity volleyball head coach at University High School in Normal in 2006 and 2007.

Lambert served as an intern at the IHSA office in 2007 while completing her Master's Degree and was then hired as the IHSA's Coordinator of Marketing & Special Events in 2008. Prior to her promotion to Assistant Executive Director, Lambert's duties with the IHSA included administering the IHSA Academic All-State Team and the March Madness Experience event held in conjunction with the IHSA Boys Basketball State Final tournaments.
