In the championship match, it was a strong performance both by a number of underclassman, and the winning team's onlny starting senior. Sandburg's Sophmore Brandon Torres stymied Lincoln-Way East through out the match, answering 6 toss-ups along the way. Senior Joseph Geovanes also answered 3 on the way to the victory, despite Lincoln-Way East's underclassmen showing up well with sopohomore Caleb Lee with 3 and Felix Sacks with 2.
