Congratulations to both IC and Noble Butler Prep as they played a fantastic Sectional Championship game in a great atmosphere! Claire Wagner led the Knights with 23 pts. Balanced scoring from Noble Butler Prep as Xamiya Walton had 23 pts, Christin Brewer 17 pts, and Camille Jackson 15 pts. Good luck to The Lady Lynx move on to the super-sectional at Morton College.
Three-Point Showdown Advancers: Congratulations to the 3 point shooters who advance to State. Meena Lee, University of Chicago Lab School and Xamiya Walton, Noble Butler Prep both had scores of 10 makes to advance.

An exciting sectional final won by Winnebago who was lead by Miyah Brown with 20 points and clutch baskets down the stretch. Byron was lead by Ava Kultgen's 12 points.
Three-Point Showdown Advancers: 3 point shooters advancing to the state finals: Emily Gilbert of Genoa Kingston with 10 Sydney Carlson of Rockford Lutheran after winning a 4 way tiebreaker.
