| Opening 8-2 at the end of the 1st quarter, Normal Community (31-5) downed Downers Grove (North) (29-5) 53-29 on Doug Collins Court of ISU’s CEFCU Arena. Jaheem Weber lead the Ironmen with 22 points including 3 highlight film worthy dunks. Normal Community will take on either Palatine (H.S.) or Gurney (Warren) in the 2pm game Friday at State Farm Center. Also in double figures for NCHS were Braylon Roman with 12 and Conner Smith with 10. NCHS won the battle of board 39-29 with Noah Cleveland leading with 12. DGN was lead by Jack Stanton with 12 points. |
