Manager's Comment: With beautiful sunny skies, boats launched from the Port of Blarney to be one of the top six boats to claim a spot for next week's sectional on their journey to state. Senior Andrew Wells and Sophomore Prestyn Misch led the charge, securing the regional championship for Richmond-Burton with an impressive total weight of 11.64 lbs. The school’s success continued as Caleb Rodenkirk, competing in the second Richmond boat, earned the Big Bass award with a standout 3.88 lb catch. A huge thank you to Blarney’s Bass Masters for their essential help with the weigh-in process. It was an incredible day for high school angling and a proud moment for the Richmond-Burton program!
