 Notes & Quotes
NOTES AND QUOTES -- MATCH 4

WINNING COACH CHRISTINE SCHEIBE OF JOLIET (CATHOLIC)
“I felt game 1 was one of our best all season. We watched tape on McAuley. The girls followed our suggestion to a “T”. We played the under-dog roll and all season long. McAuley was ranked higher then us, so no pressure on us. McAuley made nice adjustments on us and got some nice blocks. It was nice being down early than late like the past few games. I knew the girls would pull it back together.”

LOSING COACH NANCY PEDERSEN OF CHICAGO (MOTHER MCAULEY)
“The fans support was tremendous. I think Joliet out played us. They were able to pass and play their offense like they wanted. I’m very proud of our team. They played hard all year long. I’m proud of the players for getting here. I wanted to focus on passing better so we could run our offense. It was important that we got here for the lower lever classman. We emphasized that this is something we hadn’t done in the last two seasons.”
