MATCH 1 NOTES AND QUOTES
WINNING COACH Rhonda Jensen, Quincy (Nore Dame) --
(What she said to her team:) It was tight, it was a close game, here is where your heart comes in, if this is what you want, you have to want to bring home some hardware, you have to play hard.
I told them to play with hear, to play as hard as you can. They came out pumped.
Kristie Kemner: It was in the cards for us to win. I wouldn’t play for any other team except Quincy Notre Dame.
LOSING COACH Sue Lotz, Milledgeville --
I’m very proud of these girls. We’ve had a very good season, 34-0. They played with a lot of heart and soul.
Our defense is one of our concerns. We are a shorter team. They came out and played with their heart and soul.
(About the attitude in the locker room:) It’s very difficult. We gave them a very good match. The sun will come up tomorrow and the girls will look back and see they had a great season.
