Manager's Comment: Tough conditions at Shabbona Lake, but the students fished through the wind and cold and still managed to find some good fish. Kudos to everyone involved on another good year. Taking 1st Place and earning their first Sectional championship was Geneva Boat #1. The team of Will Ramage, Aidan Hanlon, and Estelle Stanfield caught a limit weighing 11 lbs 7 oz. Geneva was led by Will Ramage's 4-pound largemouth, which was also the big bass of the tournament. Geneva was coached by Tom Anderson. Finishing in 2nd Place was St. Charles North Boat #1. The team of John Kallas and Wilhelm Lacknor caught a limit weighing 10 lbs 15 oz, led by John Kallas' 3 lb 13 oz bass. St. Charles was coached by Tim Pinks. Finishing in 3rd Place was Rochelle Boat #1. The team of Cooper Hasz, Griffin Ohlinger, and Levi Lawhorn caught a limit weighing 10 lb 15 oz, and was led by Cooper's 2 lb 11 oz bass. Rochelle was coached by Curt Samo.
