Dad of Huntley HS Student-Athletes Recognized For Going Above & Beyond

Tim Sieb is a father of two Huntley High School student athletes.

His children - Kevin (soccer) and Kyle (cross country) – have always been active within the high school sports community. Despite their busy school and sports schedules, Tim also has always stressed the importance of giving back to help enhance the lives of others.

Over the past year alone, Tim has helped collect hundreds of shoes and jackets for homeless shelters, built bikes and scooters for low-income elementary schools and also assisted senior facilities and local animal shelters. His family and other student athletes and parents from the Huntley community have joined him in those important moments.

Thanks to his selfless efforts, Tim was surprised with two Chicago Blackhawks tickets by the Making A Difference On AND Off The Field campaign presented by Buddy’s HELPERS and the PepsiCo Showdown.

Tim became the first parent surprised a part of the ongoing campaign, which unities Chicago-area high school student athletes and teachers/coaches in an annual community service campaign built around “Making A Difference On AND Off The Field.”

“Tim and his family show up and support a lot of activities in the community, not just the ones they’re involved in,” said Kris Grabner, who has been a math teacher and head boys and girls soccer coach at Huntley High School since 2003. “It says a lot about him as a person, a father and a community leader.”
