Montini Football Coach Chris Andriano Retires After Six IHSA State Titles

At the conclusion of the 2016 season, Montini football coach Chris Andriano announced the conclusion to his legendary 38-year coaching career.

Andriano will retire after leading the Broncos to six IHSA football state titles, while winning 300 total games in his career.

Montini recently enjoyed one of the best runs in state history, as the program appeared in seven consecutive state championship games from 2009-2015. That streak included four straight titles from 2009-2012, followed by a another state championship in 2015. Andriano's first title came in 2004.
