The Punke family made history at the 2016 IHSA Individual Wrestling State Finals, as the four brothers from Washington High School all qualified for the state tourney in the same year, marking the first time that has occurred in state history.

The Punke brothers include (pictured from left to right above) freshman Jace (195 pounds, 23-17), sophomore Blaize (138 pounds, 26-10), junior Dack (113 pounds, 40-4) and senior Ryder Punke (160 pounds, 38-4). All four won their matches on Friday, February 18, 2016 at the State Farm Center on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign-Urbana.

UPDATE
The Punke's made their historical season even more difficult for any future brother foursomes to top, as they not only qualified, but all four placed at the 2016 state tournament:
-Freshman Jace placed sixth in Class 2A at 195 pounds
-Sophomore Blaize placed fourth in Class 2A at 138 pounds
-Junior Dack was the Class 2A State Champion at 113 pounds
-Senior Ryder Punke placed second in Class 2A at 160 pounds
