Stillman Valley High School’s Pierce Knarr Provides Firsthand View of IHSA State Bass Fishing

Stillman Valley High School’s Pierce Knarr was one of the stars of the 2018 IHSA Bass Fishing State Finals.

Pierce pulled the big bass of the tournament out of Carlyle Lake on Friday, May 18 when he caught a fish weighing in at 4 pounds and 15 ounces. On the second day of competition (May 19), he tied Goreville’s Landon Albright for the largest fish of the day (3 pounds, 4 ounces).
