Chicago media legend Kenny McReynolds was honored with the IHSA Distinguished Media Service Award during the Chicago Public League Boys Basketball Championship on February 10, 2024.

With numerous family and friends in attendance, Kenny was recognized between quarters and was awarded his plaque from IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson and David Rosengard, the Executive Director of Sports Administration Chicago Public Schools.
