Eisenhower Band Director Justin Antos Named Finalist For 2021 Grammy Music Educator Award

Dwight D. Eisenhower High School (Blue Island) band director Justin Antos has been named a finalist for the 2021 Grammy Music Educator Award.

"Words cannot express how humbled I am to have been nominated for this award by my amazing students," said Antos. "They are the hardest working people from some of the most genuine families I have ever met, and I am so proud to be able to represent Eisenhower High School and the Blue Island community throughout this journey."

Antos was one of 10 nominees from around the country who were announced as finalists on CBS This Morning in December…

The Grammy Awards were originally slated to be held on January 31, 2021, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, however, they were postponed until March 14, 2021, due to the pandemic.
