About the
Authors
Scott Johnson and Julie Kistler are both graduates of Elgin High School
and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Although they have been married for 21
years, Once There Were Giants is their first literary collaboration. Johnson, an
assistant executive director with the Illinois High School Association, has researched and
written many articles and monographs on Illinois high school sports, while Kistler is a
full-time writer with some 25 published novels and more than 600 theater reviews to her
credit. |
