Winning Coach, Daniel Rolph, Bloomington (Central Catholic): “The arena is something we haven’t experience before, but coming into it, the girls said, “Don’t worry, Dan, we’ll take care of it.” The key of the game was serving; they had a hard time against our serve. I think playing them three weeks ago was one of the keys to our success. We knew who their hitters were going to be and the defense they tried to play. They played a rotation game and we were able to execute against them.”
Losing Coach, Christine Stephens, Quincy (Notre Dame): “We knew they (Central Catholic) would be ready to play today. We were ready to play, too, but our passes just weren’t there.”
