Manager's Comment: During the 4x800-meter relay, the FAT system failed and no times were available for any of the relay teams. Under the rules in force, the meet manager had no option but to advance only the first two teams to the state final. The IHSA worked throughout the day Saturday to obtain and analyze video of the event to determine whether any accommodation was possible in this unusual circumstance. Late Saturday night IHSA Assistant Executive Director Ron McGraw ruled that the third and fourth place teams would also be allowed to advance to the state final. The times given are adjusted manual times taken from the video.
