James Hutton, Chad Opel, and Matt Evers could play on any team I've ever coached. We may wear suspenders in St. Louis but we can play baseball. We've got to be ready to go to war to win a state championship. We had heart. " Losing coach, Frank Ganser of Tinley Park (Andrew) : "Edwardsville deserved it. They played well. They got the runs, we didn't. We couldn't stop them early. We were too pumped, and made some aggressive mistakes. The bottom line is they earned it.'' |
