Boys Baseball and Girls Softball State Finals to be Broadcast Live Online

BLOOMINGTON - The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) and AmeriSports Media, Inc., will once again join forces to provide streaming-audio coverage via the Internet for both the Boys Baseball and Girls Softball state finals this June.

Broadcast Schedule

Friday, June 4 -- All eight Class A Boys Baseball and all eight Class A Girls Softball games live. Baseball starts at 9 a.m., while the firstpitch at softball will be 10 a.m.

Saturday, June 5 -- Class A Boys Baseball semifinals, third-place and championship games starting at 9 a.m. and Class A Girls Softball semifinals, third-place and championship games starting at 10 a.m.

Friday, June 11 -- All eight Class AA Boys Baseball quarterfinals and all eight Class AA Girls Softball quarterfinals live. Baseball starts at 9 a.m., while the firstpitch at softball will be 10 a.m.

Saturday, June 12 -- Class AA Boys Baseball semifinals, third-place and championship games starting at 9a.m. and Class AA Girls Softball semifinals, third-place and championship games starting at 10 a.m.

Access to the live audio links will be through the IHSA Boys Baseball menu page and the IHSA Girls Softball menu page, as well as through www.broadcastmonsters.com.

These broadcasts mark the end of a successful season of audio broadcasts produced by AmeriSports Media. The IHSA and AmeriSports Media teamed up this school year to provide live coverage of all eight state football championships back in November, live coverage of all 32 Boys and Girls Class A and AA state basketball tournaments games in February and March, and live coverage of both the Boys and Girls State Track and Field Meets this past May.
