Class A & AA Individual Sectional Pairing Schematics
Pairings for the Class A and Class AA Sectional tournaments in the 2006 Boys Wrestling series were made in the IHSA Office on Dec. 14, 2005, by the blind draw of Bryan Bloodworth of the Bloomington Pantagraph . The pairings reflect the advancement of wrestlers from the correlated regionals to the sectionals.
Within each sectional, the correlated regionals have been assigned a letter (A,B,C,D). The schematics show the first-round and the second-round bouts of the sectional. The winner of the first-round bout (between a regional second- and a regional third-place wrestler) advances to the second round to meet a regional champion.
