Bloomington-Normal
Convention and Visitors Bureau

the state championship teams of 1984(
Elmhurst
(Immaculate Conception) and Chicago (Mother
McAuley) and 1994 (Breese
(Mater Dei) and Chicago (Mother McAuley).
These players and coaches in the 1984 and 1994
state championship teams are invited to be our
guests at the 2004 Class A/AA Girls State
Volleyball Finals on Saturday,
November 13, 2004.
Redbird
Arena on the campus of
Illinois
State
University
in
Normal
is the site for the IHSA state finals and the
Pass It On Reunion. Invited to the reunion
this year are the Class A and AA champions of
the 1984 and 1994 IHSA tournament. Players
and Coaches from these teams will be recognized
on the floor during the final session on
Saturday during the Championship Session.
In addition, the Bloomington-Normal
Convention and Visitors Bureau will
host a reception
for all returning players and coaches in Redbird
Arena. Each reunion attendee may also
bring a maximum of three family members to the
reception.
Each
player and coach from the1984, and 1994 teams in
attendance will be provided with a complimentary
ticket to the Saturday night championship
session. Guests may purchase tickets to
the games at Redbird Arena. Costs of
tickets are $8.00 per person.
If
you would like to be a part of recognizing
female athletes and the important role athletics
plays in our lives, please contact the
Bloomington-Normal CVB via phone, fax, or email
listed below. Simply complete the attached
response page and return it with a final number
for the reception. You may pick up your
complimentary ticket at the Redbird Arena Will
Call. Redbird Arena Ushers can direct you to the
Will Call. All
participants attending must meet in the REDBIRD
ROOM just off of the northeast tunnel leading to
the Redbird Arena floor at 6:00 p.m. to get
organized for the Opening Reception and
introductions.
