WINNING COACH, DANIEL ROLPH, BLOOMINGTON (CENTRAL CATHOLIC)
We played them earlier this year and we were down to start but once we had pressure put on us, we picked up momentum. They played the game the same way as when we first played them. We collapsed our blocking and were playing closer on the block. I’ve had this team for four years and they are the best group of girls I’ve had to work with. They did an outstanding job.
LOSING COACH, KRISTY PIERCE, LANARK (EASTLAND)
We played well tonight, but nowhere close to our best match. We had spurts of good play, but we could not keep a continuous play throughout the match. I’m just proud of this group of girls and glad to be their coach. These kids willed each other throughout the year and just kept going and going. There were some adjustments we made from the first game we played and they paid off, but not as well as we would have liked.
