Winning Coach Kathy Wuller, Belleville (Althoff), “We are excited that we were able to end our season on a positive note. It was motivation for us after our poor performance this morning. I thought we played aggressively and kept the pressure on them. Being from down south, it was nice to be able to come here and show the people up north, where Belleville is on the map. Normal Community had good ball control and good defense. They kept the game close and made for an exciting match for both us and the fans.”

I am incredibly proud of our girls, especially my four seniors who had been great leaders and role models all season. When you lose the first game, I hoped the team would come out with more intensity in the second game, but we had some early miscues that hurt us down the stretch.”
