Winning Coach Fred Rakers
I think we knew who was going to hit and we were feeling them out. It was a clumsy game and we got on a roll a few times. It was important to us to have the side out because we play the side out well. The balance was nice for us, but we could have done more in the middle.
Losing Coach Tim Kerr
I thought our kids played very good and very hard. There was a stretch in the middle were we didn’t pass very well. Our offense was kind of stagnant. We knew coming in that Mater Dei was big and played well at the net. I thought that we gave it a great effort and played with intensity.
