Only two people come out as winners and we’re one of them. I thought we looked pretty sluggish today. You think about the losses and things you could have done differently.
Katie Virtue: We didn’t want to come out and die. We wanted to end our season with a win. We had a fun year, and that’s what important.
LOSING COACH Charlene Lehnen, Normal (University)
I think these guys know they can do this. You know St. Francis wasn’t going home with less than third. It was fun to watch, it was fun to be a part of it. My real goal was to play St. Francis but I didn’t think it would be for third.
We got to play all weekend. That’s great experience for the sophomores.
