Football Playoff Clinchers & Hopefuls — 2008-09

A total of 256 schools — 67 conference champions and 189 at-large entries — will qualify for the IHSA football playoffs. This list shows schools that have clinched a conference championship, schools that have clinched an at-large entry by winning at least 6 games, and schools that are still eligible for a playoff berth. "Playoff points," the total number of games won by a team's opponents, are used to break ties in determining playoff berths and seeding the playoffs.If you notice an error in the conference standings, please let us know immediately.
