Site is also three miles west of Arlington Heights Road. 2) You can exit Route 53 at Kirchoff Road and go east three blocks to Owl Drive. 3) Exit the Northwest Tollroad (I-90) at Arlington Heights Road. North on Arlington Heights Road to Central, west three miles to Owl Drive. Aurora (East) Site of Meet: Phillips Park Aquatics Center Girls Meet Starts: 1:30 p.m. Change from previous time Boys Meet Starts: 2:00 p.m. Change from previous time Directions to Site: From I-88: Exit Farnsworth South. Go south on Farnsworth to 5th Avenue. Turn right to next stoplight. Turn left on Hill Avenue. Follow Hill Avenue south to Mongomery Road, turn right. Phillips Park Aqauatics Center is on the right. Belvidere Site of Meet: Belvidere High School Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Directions to Site: Corner of Bypass 20 and East Avenue. Burbank (Reavis) Site of Meet: Reavis High School (West of school at Stadium) Girls Meet Starts: 1:00 p.m. Boys Meet Starts: 1:45 p.m. Directions to Site: Exit I-294 onto 95th St., Travel east approx. 1/4 mile to Harlem Ave. (Route 43). Go North to 79th St., turn right on 79th St. Go East to Narragansett (stop light) - turn left (north). Go to 77th and turn right. Take 77th for approx. 2 blocks to Stadium on the left (north side of 77th). Charleston Site of Meet: EIU in Charleston Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Directions to Site: Behind Lantz Gym on Fourth Street, South of Lincoln Ave. (Rt. 16). Edwardsville (H.S.) Site of Meet: Southern Illinois University Campus-Edwardsville, North University Drive at Poag Road Girls Meet Starts: 1:00 p.m. Boys Meet Starts: 1:45 p.m. Directions to Site: 1) From the North: I-55 South to I-270 West. I-270 West to I-255 North. I-255 North to New Poag Road, turn right (east) to North University Drive, turn right (south). 2) From the South: I-55/I-70 to I-270 to I-255 North to New Poag Road, turn right (east) to North University Drive. Jacksonville (H.S.) Site of Meet: Community Park Girls Meet Starts: 11:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:30 a.m. Directions to Site: Park is in Jacksonville at the corner of Morton Avenue and Main Street (Route 67). Joliet (Twp.) Site of Meet: Channahon Community Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Directions to Site: 1) From I-80: Houbolt Road South. Turn right (west) on Rt. 6. Turn rigth on McClintock Road. Community Park is on the right (north). 2) From I-55: Exit at Rt. 6 East. Take Frontage Road North. Turn right on McClintock Road. Community Park is on the left (north). Lombard (Glenbard East) Site of Meet: Sunset Knolls Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Directions to Site: 1/2 mile north of Roosevelt Road (Rt. 38) on Finley Road in Lombard Midlothian (Bremen) Site of Meet: Midlothian Meadows Girls Meet Starts: 9:45 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Directions to Site: 1) Take 1-57 North to 159th Street West and go about 1 block to Pulaski/Crawford. Turn right and 1/2 block north and the course is on the west side of the street. 2) Take I-80 East to 1-57 North, get off on 159th Street going west. The first light is Pulaski/Crawford, make a right and go north. The course is on the west side of Pulaski, 2nd entrance. 3) take 294 South to 159th Street exit, pay toll and proceed west 2 miles to Pulaski, turn right and go 1/2 mile north. Entrance is on thewest side of the street. Mundelein (H.S.) Site of Meet: Lakewood Forest Preserve Girls Meet Starts: 1:30 p.m. Boys Meet Starts: 2:15 p.m. Directions to Site: Route 176 West to Fairfield Road. Turn left (south) on Fairfield Road to Ivanhoe. Turn right on Ivanhoe to parking area. Oak Park (O.P.-River Forest) Revised Site of Meet: Schiller Woods Grove #14 Girls Meet Starts: 2:45 p.m. Boys Meet Starts: 2:00 p.m. Directions to Site: Take Eisenhower (290) to First Avenue. Go north on First Avenue which turns into Cumberland. Continue on Cumberland to Irving Park Road and turn west. Schiller Woods is the first driveway on the north side. Orland Park (Sandburg) Site of Meet: Turtlehead Lake Forest Preserve Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Directions to Site: From the North or South: Link up with I-80 West. Exit Harlem Avenue North to Turtlehead Lake Forest Preserve (136th at Harlem). Palatine (H.S.) Site of Meet: Thomas Hamilton Reservoir Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:00 a.m. Directions to Site: Route 53 between Northwest Highway West to Smith Street. North to Hamilton Reservoir. Across the street from Sundling Junior High School. Peoria (Richwoods) Site of Meet: Detweiller Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Directions to Site: Enter Detweiller Park off of Route 40 (Knoxville Avenue) or off of Route 29. Pontiac Site of Meet: Wolf Creek Golf Club Girls Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:15 a.m. Directions to Site: 1) From the North: Take I-55 South to O'Dell. Exit I-55, turn left. Turn right at four-way stop (on Old 66). Take Old Route 66 South. It becomes 4-lanes, turn left at "Cayuga" sign. Go over tracks and head straight to Golf Course. 2) From the South: Take I-55 to 116. Go right on 116 into Pontiac. Turn left at stoplight (on Old Route 66). Stay on Old Route 66 for about 5 miles. Turn right at "Cayuga" sign. Go over tracks, head straight to Golf Course. Rochelle Site of Meet: Kishwaukee College Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:40 a.m. Directions to Site: 6 miles west of DeKalb on Route 38. 10 miles east of Rochelle on Route 38. Salem Site of Meet: Franklin Park Junior High Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Directions to Site: Interstate 57 to Illinois Route 50. Turn east on Route 50. Go to second traffic light and turn North on Illinois Street. Follow Illinois Street past the 4-way stop at Illinois and Boone, and continue north to Franklin Park Junior High in Salem. St. Charles Site of Meet: LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Directions to Site: Route 64 West to Randall Road, turn right (North), go about 1/4 mile to Dean Street, turn left (West) to LeRoy Oakes on right (North). Woodstock (H.S.) Site of Meet: Emricson Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:45 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Directions to Site: Go 1/2 block west from Woodstock High School. Park is located on the right side. SECTIONALS Date: Saturday, October 30, 1999 Centralia Site of Meet: Foundation Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:00 a.m. Directions to Site: Foundation Park is located on the east end of Centralia, just one block North of Route 161. Entrances to the park are located off Pleasant Street and at the Coca-Cola Company on Route 161. Lockport (Twp.) Site of Meet: Dellwood Park Girls Meet Starts: 11:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 12:30 p.m. Directions to Site: From the North - I-55 Exit 53; 53 south to Rt. 7, take a left, Rt. 7 East to Rt. 171, take a right go South on 171 to park. From the East - 159th St. West to Rt. 171. Go left, South on 171 to park. Schaumburg Site of Meet: Busse Woods, Groves 18, 21, 22 Girls Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:30 a.m. Directions to Site: Illinois rt. 72 (Higgins Rd) & Illinois Rt. 53. Entrance is on the South side of Rt. 72 (Higgins Road). Sterling (H.S.) Site of Meet: Hoover Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:30 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:15 a.m. Directions to Site: East end of Sterling: 1) From the east, turn left off of Route 2 onto Woodlawn Road. 2) From the West: Turn right off of Route 2 onto Woodlawn Road. McDonald's Restaurant is at the Intersection of Woodlawn Road and Route 2. The course begins directly behind Woodlawn School. Wheaton (North) Site of Meet: Northside Park Girls Meet Starts: 10:00 a.m. Boys Meet Starts: 11:000 a.m. Directions to Site: 1) From Route 64 to Carol Stream to Gary Avenue, go South to Harrison (stop sign) and turn left. Go to next stop sign (West street), turn left. Follow West Street into Northside Park, turn right for parking lots. 2) From Route 38 into Wheaton to West Street, drive North directly into Northside Park, turn right for parking lots. |
