Advancement
T
eams to State Final:  At the Sectional competition, the two teams with the highest level pin count for both rounds (round one score added to round two score) shall be the winners and advance to the State Final Tournament. 

Individuals to State Final:  At each Sectional competition, the top two individuals who are not a part of a qualifying team shall advance. In addition, all sectionals shall be surveyed and six (6) at-large individual bowlers, who are the least pins behind the last qualifying spot shall also advance to the state final individual competition.  In the  case of a tie for the last individual qualifying spot, the tiebreaker will be broken by the bowler with the highest series. If the tie still is not broken, then the bowler with the best 6th game shall advance.

Team Scoring
Sectionals:  Each round consists of three games.  Total pinfall is based upon two rounds of competition  at this level.  Each team consists of five (5) bowlers and total team pinfall consists of all scores of all bowlers on a team.

State Final:  Each round consists of three games.  Each team consists of five (5) bowlers and total pinfall per round consists of  the sum of the scores of the bowlers.  Total pinfall is based upon a team's cumulative count following each round.  Each team and individual advancing to the State Final will bowl two rounds on Friday.  The twelve (12) highest scoring teams and 30 individuals not a part of an advancing team on Friday will advance to the third round Saturday.  The twelve (12) highest scoring teams and 30 individuals in round three advance to the final round.

Individual Scoring
Sectionals:  Each round consists of three games.  Total pinfall is based upon two rounds of competition and will determine final individual places.
