Bass Fishing Casting Contest — 2008-09

At this year's state final, the IHSA will host a bass fishing casting contest open to any high school student who wants to compete.

The contest will be held at designated times on both Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. State qualifiers are welcome to compete in either session, but since the Saturday session will be held while teams are out on the water, only those alternates who are on shore will be able to participate

Casting Contest Schedule

Location: Near the Fishing Celebration Expo

Friday, May 8, 2009 -- 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Saturday, May 9, 2009 -- 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Awards will be presented at 3:00 pm at the weigh-in stage.
