Basketball Pack the Place — 2003-04
2003-04 Winter Basketball Pack the Place WinnersAshland (A-C Central), Bloomington (Central Catholic), Carmi (C.-White County), Centralia, Chicago (Mother McAuley), Chillicothe (Illinois Valley Central), Crystal Lake (Central), Decatur (Eisenhower), Elgin (Westminster Christian), Erie, Franklin, Greenview, Kewanee (H.S.), Kincaid (South Fork), LaGrange (Lyons), Lansing (Thornton Fractional South), Macon (Meridian), Maroa (M.-Forsyth), Milford, Morrison, Mulberry Grove, Peotone, Plainfield (Central), Poplar Grove (North Boone), Quincy (Sr.), River Forest (Trinity), Springfield (Calvary), Vandalia, Vienna.
The concept behind Pack The Place is for each member school to select at least one home basketball game during the 2003-04 season as a game it will do everything it can to fill the gymnasium and to make attending the matches) that day exciting for all who come, and an event worth remembering.
The idea is to attract high school students and young adults (with their children) in particular, and other segments of the community who might not otherwise come to your school's matches. In the meantime, don't discourage your regular fans from supporting the team either.
Member schools which host a Pack The Place game and fill their gymnasium to 80 percent capacity or better will receive the official IHSA Pack The Place Banner.
