On Sunday, February 12, 2,500 girls soccer players from 80 different Chicago-area high schools came together off the field to assist in making the lives of others better in the same amount of time it would take to play a game.

Picture 80 high school teams of 30+ girls soccer players wearing capes, as they walk around together carrying out random acts of kindness to kickoff National Random Acts of Kindness Week in the U.S. The 2,500 girls soccer players also chipped in a buck or two on Sunday to light up the lives of 100 low-income children, which will result in a special surprise delivery on Thursday, Feb. 16.

This large community service project was a part of the "Making A Difference On AND Off The Field" campaign, presented by Buddy’s HELPERS and the PepsiCo Showdown.
